Eastpointe Youth
Who we are and what we do?
one8ty student ministries is about life change in our teens in the surrounding communities and neighborhoods of Eastpointe. Students are challenged with studying God’s Word, applying it to their lives, and living it out in their schools, jobs, homes, extra-curricular activities, and around their friends. Students in grades 7th through 12th grade are invited to join us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, as we meet together to discuss topics from the Bible and build lasting relationships with other teens.
Sunday morning - Our Sunday morning Bible Study starts with Unified, our opportunity of worship and fellowship with other Christian teens. From there, we often break into Jr. High and Sr. High classes where we study God’s Word. Unified begins at 9:30a in “the Attic.”
Wednesday night - Games, a lesson, family group time, worship, snacks, the “Impossible Shot,” loud music, and crazy sponsors… what else could you ask for in one hour with a group of teens in a church environment. one8ty is our “church for teens.” We have open gym starting at 6:30p where you can come and blow off some steam after a long day of school. The evening officially begins at 7p and ends at 8p. Bring your friends and come have a blast!!! (one8ty is on the same schedule time as Adult Bible Studies.)
Although we’re on a summer break, mark your calendars now for the return of one8ty. Our fall kick-off will be on Wednesday, September 1st. We can’t wait to see you and your friends there!
